SAP Finance and Procurement Team Lead
About the role
Reporting to the SAP Functional Manager, the SAP Finance and Procurement Team Lead will lead a team driving the design, implementation, and support of SAP Finance (FICO & PS) and Procurement (MM) solutions. This role demands deep expertise in financial accounting, product costing and controlling processes, with strong command of SAP FICO and PS modules. You’ll play a key role in expanding and aligning enterprise systems across the business, championing continuous improvement and system integration.
The Infrabuild SAP team supports all Infrabuild businesses who use SAP as the ERP and can be based out of Sydney, Newcastle or Laverton (VIC).
Responsibilities will include:
- Provide expert advise on SAP FICO, PS modules and product costing, ensuring alignment with evolving system architecture
- Design and document SAP solutions and technical specifications aligned with business needs and IT best practices
- Assess and communicate change impact across integrated SAP modules
- Coordinate project tasks including training, documentation, process design, data cleansing and cutover activities
- Develop and execute functional and integrated test scenarios; support user acceptance testing
- Deliver day to day support for SAP Finance and associated modules, including issue resolution, user training, performance monitoring and proactively recommend process or solution improvements
About your Experience
Our ideal candidate will have the following experience:
- 10+ years of Technical Subject Matter Experience and Leadership in SAP support and project delivery capacity
- Ability to understand the needs of customers and clearly engage and communicate with them
- Adherence to and enforcement of IT standards and Industry best practice
- Advanced experience in SAP Finance, SAP Controlling, Investment Management and Project Systems
- Experience in all integration points between SAP Finance, Controlling, Project Systems and other SAP modules in both ECC SAP systems and S4 HANA systems
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Commitment and willingness to learn, embrace emerging technologies, dedication to growth, self-learning and continuous improvement
