Customer Service Officer

About the role

Join a successful branch in Laverton North and be part of collaborative and supportive team. You will be working closely with Account Managers, Warehousing and the Leadership team, ensuring customers are having a continuously positive experience with ARC. This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure in a fast-paced environment, dealing with a variety of customers where no two days will be the same.

• Provide excellent customer service over-the-phone and in-person

• Providing quotations and following through to order placement and successful on-time delivery to the customers

• Liaising with the broader business team to best service our customers

• Assist with administrative tasks

About your experience

It’s important that you are a team player with strong problem-solving skills, customer focused and thrive in a busy environment.  You will be an enthusiastic and tenacious individual with the ability to think on your feet.

• Experience in sales administration, customer service or sales

• Logistics, construction or manufacturing industry experience preferred

• Ability to understand your customers business and offer value-based solutions

• Excellent interpersonal phone skills and ability to upsell

• Sound computer skills

• Great positive and proactive attitude
