Condition Monitoring Supervisor
About the role
Condition Monitoring Supervisor is a key member of the Laverton Mill Engineering Reliability team. This role is critical in maintaining and improving plant reliability and will focus on Condition Based Equipment Health Analysis across the plant using tools like Vibration Analysis, Oil Analysis and Thermography. This role will play a key role in developing Asset Strategy by providing input relating to Asset health. The supervisor will also play a key role in organizing and coordinating the training and development of Maintenance personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and promoting a strong safety focus
- Manage, implement, and improve vibration, lubrication and thermography based predictive maintenance programs, including onsite data collection, analysis and determination of recommendations for site equipment.
- Report on defects found in a timely manner
- Recommend repairs based on condition monitoring data
- Provide technical support to the maintenance and operations teams
- Coordinate training and development
About your experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Relevant experience in the field of mechanical maintenance with the relevant technical qualification
- Minimum 5 Years condition monitoring experience with a strong focus on Vibration analysis, experience within Heavy Industry, Manufacturing or similar is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex maintenance problems and a sound understanding of mechanical processes
- Excellent influencing and communications skills are critical as you build effective relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to prioritise your time across multiple projects, whilst providing high quality of the work.
- Strong analytical, planning and organizing skills.
- Experience leading teams.
Requirements:
- VCAT2 certification
Highly regarded:
- VCAT3 certification
- Level 1 Thermography
- MLA/MLT Certification (ICML) or equivalent
- Working experience with SKF Vibration analysis and Condition Monitoring tools and systems
