Reporting to the Day Shift Supervisor and based at our Horningsea Park site, you will join a small, community minded and high performing team. The team is highly safety focused and process driven, and you will receive thorough training to set you up for success. This role offers full-time secure employment and is a fantastic opportunity to build a career in the steel industry.
What you will be doing:
- Operate production machinery to cut and drill steel sections.
- Use overhead gantry cranes to handle steel during production processes.
- Assist with general warehousing duties when machinery is not running to maximise operational efficiency.
- Effectively work within a team environment to achieve production KPIs.
- Take ownership of machine performance including output, downtime, quality and housekeeping.
- Champion safety procedures to the highest standard.
This role operates Monday to Friday, 5:00am–1:00pm, offering a pay rate of $30-$33 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

What you will bring:
- No experience required – ideal for entry-level candidates or school leavers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to pick up new skills quickly, adapt to systems and manage time effectively to meet targets
- Strong commitment to safety and promoting a safety-first culture
- Experience in steel or manufacturing environments with machine operation exposure will be highly regarded but is not essential
