About the role

Be a part of our tight-knit team at the Hexham branch, where safety and teamwork are top priorities. As part of this dedicated group, you'll receive thorough training and guidance to excel in your role. Our focus on safety and efficiency ensures a positive working environment where collaboration thrives. Key responsibilities include:

• Service customer scrap bins within the Newcastle Business and rural Areas.

• Safely load and unload vehicle, operating Hiab crane and or utilise site forklifts to load unload.

• Load restraint using chains or binders to secure loads.

• Provide excellent face-to-face customer service with a focus on satisfaction.

• Utilise provided tablets for pre-start checks, route management, and job assignments.

• Manage routes, adjusting as necessary to accommodate various customers within the same areas or customers that are a priority and need to be done sooner than later.

About your experience

We are looking for someone with patience, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. We believe that safety and effective communication are fundamental to our operations.

• Strong emphasis on safety awareness.

• Holds a current Automatic HR license for vehicles with 3 axles or more

• Basic computer skills are advantageous as will be using a Tablet for Tasks.

• Hiab Crane experience is ideal, or you are willing to be trained to operate Hiab.
