Residential Fulfilment Officer

About The Role

ARC (The Australian Reinforcing Company) have an exciting opportunity for a Residential Fulfilment Officer to join our Hemmant branch. You will play a vital role in supporting our Brisbane Residential Sales Team by delivering excellent customer service and ensuring timely and accurate fulfilment of residential orders.

Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction and contribute to the operational success of our business by maintaining brand and product integrity and working collaboratively to meet our delivery and quality targets. With a strong focus on administrative efficiency, customer engagement, and continuous improvement, this role is a great opportunity for a service-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic, team-focused environment.


Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality customer service by providing accurate order entry, technical advice, and timely responses to customer enquiries
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, account managers, and internal teams
  • Supporting the Residential Sales Manager and Customer Service Lead with order processing, product support, and issue resolution
  • Managing administrative functions including email and phone correspondence, purchase orders, and despatch reports
  • Ensuring compliance with internal processes and auditing requirements (e.g. P7 audits)
  • Collaborating across departments to identify process improvements and support business objectives
  • Contributing to a positive and safe team environment through communication, coaching, and shared accountability

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or order fulfilment role, ideally in manufacturing, construction, or logistics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a clear and professional phone manner
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proven ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
  • A team player mindset with a willingness to mentor others and share knowledge
  • A focus on continuous improvement and willingness to challenge the status quo
  • Knowledge of the reinforcing industry or building materials (preferred, but not essential)
