Reporting to the Operations Manager Hemmant, the Non Ferrous Quality Lead is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining quality systems to ensure products and operations meet internal standards and customer requirements.  The role drives continuous improvement, ensures compliance, and supports safe, efficient and consistent operations performance.

 

What you will be doing:

 

  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of quality systems and processes across a multi-site operation
  • Ensure product quality and compliance through robust inspection, auditing, and quality assurance practices
  • Investigate quality incidents and customer claims, driving effective corrective actions and long-term process improvements
  • Collaborate with Operations and Trading teams to enhance product consistency, reliability, and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and report on quality performance metrics, using data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues and maintain product standards
  • Coach and support leaders and frontline teams, fostering a proactive culture of quality and continuous improvement

What you will bring:

  • Suitable tertiary qualifications or relevant experience
  • Experience in Quality Management (industrial, manufacturing, or recycling preferred)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Continuous Improvement mindset
  • Computer literacy and software skils
