HR Business Partner

About the role

The HR Business Partner is a hands-on role that provides full employee life cycle Human Resources support to the QLD Operations of the ARC business which encompasses 12 branches. Reporting through to the National HR Manager, the role is focused on the provision of proactive HR generalist advice and guidance to managers, providing appropriate and timely ER / IR support and equipping leaders with the right skills, tools and information to effectively manage their workforce.


Your key responsibilities and accountabilities include:

  • Acting as adviser, coach and facilitator in people related issues & opportunities to the leadership groups the role supports (area, branch and site managers)
  • Supporting leaders who are accountable for developing and implementing talent management plans for their teams and relevant talent, succession and development strategies
  • Driving the development and implementation of people change initiatives, including embedding change management and helping leaders and manage the impact of change
  • Managing manage multiple people priorities and a high workload and to remain results driven.
  • Supporting key strategic HR initiatives as well as specialist HR programs across the business.
  • This role can be based across any of our Brisbane, Sunny Coast or Gold Coast ARC sites.

About your experience

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate:

  • The ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continuous improvement
  • A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement
  • Exposure to rapid and complex changing work environment to ideally include coaching and mentoring at a front-line leadership level
  • A proven solution focus and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment which demands strong deliverables
  • Strong operational HR Business Partnering experience in all end to end processes and a related tertiary qualification would be preferred.
