Storeperson / Truck Driver

About the role

Primarily based at our Gladstone, QLD site, we are currently seeking a dynamic individual who is looking for the opportunity to be part of a fast-paced work environment and is committed to delivering exceptional service.

 

This is a dual Storeperson / Truck Driver role, so the ability to be able to jump between driving and helping out in the warehouse is a must.

 

This role is Monday to Friday, 38 hour week + overtime.

 

 Key Responsibilities:

  •     Efficiently handle incoming goods, conduct inspections, and maintain accurate inventory records using our tracking system.
  •     Pack and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring precision and timeliness in shipment activities.
  •     Safely operate company vehicles, including trucks and forklifts, adhering to pre-trip/post-trip inspection protocols and all relevant traffic and safety regulations.
  •     Complete precise delivery and pickup documentation and communicate effectively with the warehouse team and management regarding inventory levels and delivery schedules.
  •     Adhere to strict safety protocols during warehouse and driving activities, ensuring compliance with transport and occupational health and safety standards.

You will also have: 

  •     High regard for safety 
  •     Holds a HC licence (advantageous) or willing to be upgraded from HR to HC.
  •     Hold a valid driver’s licence and forklift ticket 
  •     Enjoy working in a team environment. 
  •     Proactive attitude & Great customer service skills 
  •     Basic computer skills advantageous
  •     SAP knowledge advantageous.
