Account Executive - Trading
About the role
As a Trading Account Executive, you will be responsible for scrap metal trading, both ferrous and non-ferrous, as well as coordinating delivery to nominated InfraBuild Recycling facilities. Working closely with the Trading Manager and Trading team, you will contribute to operational safety as well as driving excellence in customer service. This role is based out of our Gillman site.
Key responsibilities:

Overseeing a portfolio of existing accounts as well as developing new business

Developing rapport with customers, tailoring our products and service offerings to their specific needs

Prioritising work demands to manage customer retention and satisfaction

Negotiating quotes taking into account bespoke customer requirements

Compliance to ACCC and Trade Practices in all customer and contractor interactions

Support the ‘Goal Zero’ strategy through operating in a manner which does not expose themselves or others to hazards that could result in injury or illness

The foundations required to be successful in this role include:

Strong experience in trading, sales or account management, Desirable

Experience in the scrap metal recycling and other waste and recycling industries, desirable

Demonstrate the ability to influence outcomes with various stakeholder groups to achieve strategic objectives

Ensure adherence to relevant company policies including safe work practices

A high level of resilience and a clear solutions-focused mindset to support business objectives and strategies

Demonstrated time management and project planning ability

Be able to identify opportunities for growth or improvement across a complex business
