Maintenance Systems Specialist

About the role

As the Maintenance Systems Lead at Liberty Bell Bay, you play a central role within our reliability maintenance team working closely with our Mechanical and Electrical Reliability Engineers, and Maintenance Planners, as well as collaborating with our dedicated reliability team. Additionally, you'll work with a team of specialists and technicians, ensuring efficient processing of maintenance requests and driving continuous improvement in our systems and processes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  •     Enhancing and maintaining Liberty Bell Bay's Maintenance Systems for peak efficiency.
  •     Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement system improvements.
  •     Conducting regular audits to uphold data accuracy and integrity.
  •     Providing hands-on training and support for maintenance data entry.
  •     Serving as a vital link between maintenance, operations, and IT teams, ensuring clear communication channels.

 

Hours: Monday – Friday, with the option to engage in a flexible 9 day fortnight, offering a balanced work-life schedule.

About your experience

You bring a wealth of expertise as an SAP maintenance data specialist. Your experience in mobile maintenance or planning within a mining or heavy industry environment will complement your ability to navigate complexity and enhance efficiency. If you possess a passion for refining maintenance systems, attention to detail, and effective communication skills to bridge technical and operational teams, you are the valuable asset we seek to elevate our team.

 

You will be able to -

  •     Demonstrate proven experience in industrial maintenance planning, scheduling, and data management
  •     Possess keen analytical and problem-solving skills, showcasing meticulous attention to detail.
  •     Showcase proficiency in SAP, bringing technical expertise to the table, and demonstrating expertise in the interrogation, reporting and modification of master data within the CMMS.
  •     Communicate with clarity and effectiveness, ensuring seamless collaboration across diverse departments.

 

You will have -

  •     A trade or engineering qualification together with exposure to business improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma and 5S methodologies is desirable.10 years plus, experience as an advanced SAP user
  •     Demonstrated knowledge of risk management and HSE principles in and around the workplace.
