Supply Chain Coordinator

About the role

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager the Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of inventory and supply chain activities across WA Reinforcing sites.  The Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, optimising logistics and upholding core values of safety and customer focus.

 

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Provide inventory services across WA Reinforcing sites, supporting ARC, SRC and network brands
  • Perform system inventory receipts and maintain accurate records
  • Conduct inventory counts on a daily, weekly, monthly and bi-annual basis
  • Investigate stock variances and identify slow moving and obsolete stock
  • Manage day to day inbound logistics and supply deliveries
  • Oversee sundry orders and ensure timely reconciliations
  • Coordinator consumable checks and replenishments
  • Support daily operational requirements of the supply chain and drive process improvements and task efficiency

Other experience include:

 

  • Previous inventory/supply chain, production, planning or reinforcing industry experience is desirable
  • Working knowledge of production processes within the manufacturing industry
  • Highly developed communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications – MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Familiarity or working knowledge of supply chain management systems such as JDE or SAP is advantageous
