About the role

As part of the Warehouse team at our Steel Centre site, you will work within a close-knit and supportive environment in our thriving Emerald branch as a Store person. 
 
Working hours are 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday to Friday with overtime available. 
 
The hourly rate for this role is $31.93 per hour + super. The successful candidate will also receive a $25,000 annual remote living allowance. 
 
Your responsibilities will include: 
 

• Picking and packing orders for despatch 
• Operating a forklift and overhead crane 
• Using a variety of machines, such as bandsaw and dropsaw 
• Deliveries locally using company ute 
• Promoting a safety-first culture 

The successful candidate will be subject to pre-employment checks, including medical evaluations that involve drug and alcohol testing. The branch will also perform these tests at random. 
 

You will be safety and customer-focused in everything you do, as well as a self-starter who is driven to achieve outcomes without compromising standards or safety. 
 

You will have: 
 

• Forklift ticket  
• Valid driving license  
• Promote a customer-centric approach
