InfraBuild Construction Solutions is a premier supplier of steel reinforcing solutions to tier 1 builders and mega infrastructure projects across Australia. Servicing commercial, residential and civil construction as well as the mining, agriculture and manufacturing sectors.

About the role

Join a large team of Reinforcing Steel Schedulers, supporting the supply of reinforcing steel to large projects across multiple segments of the construction industry. You interact directly with customers and internal stakeholders, to determine customer needs and ensure accurate supply of steel to each major project.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Preparing schedules and marking plans from architectural and structural drawings.
  • Coordinating the supply of reinforcement in accordance with customer requirements, relevant Australian Standards and manufacturing capabilities
  • Identifying anomalies and discrepancies with architectural and structural drawings, and seek clarification from customer prior to scheduling
  • Identifying potential solutions and negotiate changes with customers, which will reduce scheduling and production costs
  • Liaising with customers and internal stakeholders to accurately forecast current customer construction projects, to ensure internal resources are optimally managed to provide high levels of customer satisfaction.

About your experience

You are a self-driven Project Coordinator with great attention to detail and with demonstrated leadership skills, including decision making, negotiation and customer service skills. You will also be technology savvy with great time management skills.


You will have experience in most of these areas;


  • 5- 10 years’ experience as a reinforcing steel Scheduler 
  • Extract detailed information from construction drawings
  • Translating structural and engineering drawings in Blue Beam, ARMA and/or AutoCAD
  • Co-ordinate multiple scheduling projects simultaneously
  • Proven track record building positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Qualifications as a Structural/Civil Engineer or Drafter is advantageous but not essential.
