Production Planner
About the role
Reporting to the Planning Manager, the Prefab Planner is responsible and accountable for generating a detailed prefab plan to execute, and is a critical point of contact for our customers, production, and project staff.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Building and maintaining customer and stakeholder relationships
- Communicating with Production and Transport teams to monitor production capacity to build a successful plan
- Review customer confirmed work and assign work to best suited production facility based on quantity, stock availability, distribution and location
- Manage stakeholders expectations regarding delivery to ensure a consistent production and delivery function, and find solutions to challenges as they arise
- Driving continuous improvement across the business unit to support high performance and quality standards
- Liaising with operations, project managers and customers to transform delivery programs into production plans
We are seeking an experienced planner, who enjoys working in a fast-paced continuously evolving environment. You'll have excellent problem-solving skills and a results-focused mindset.
Skills and experience required:
- Proven track record in building and nurturing strong customer relationships
- Composure and professionalism when working under pressure
- Exceptional communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on creating win-win outcomes
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Proficient in MS Office with intermediate computer literacy
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with personal accountability
Desirable but Not Essential:
- Experience in reinforcing or pre-fabrication processes
- Ability to interpret construction and reinforcing drawings
- Background in logistics, supply chain, construction, or manufacturing
- Technical understanding of manufacturing or building design
