Sales Manager VIC

About the role

We are looking for an experienced leader to join our team in Victoria, with the ability to take the business to its next level. This is a unique opportunity for someone who, as Sales Manager, oversees two prominent Steel distribution centers in Victoria.  Given the task to understand and leverage each businesses unique value proposition in the market yet maintain cohesion within the teams. 

 

We are looking for someone who is keen to set the highest standards of leadership, customer service and be a driver of continuous improvement. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for:
 

  • Overall sales performance of the business in Victoria

  • Contribute and execute the strategy and process.

  • Leading, coaching, and increasing the capability of your direct reports

  • Managing relationships at a strategic level with our key customers and maximising growth opportunities

  • Identifying and implementing continuous improvement strategies resulting in the uplift capability of our team

  • Demonstrating safety through personal leadership and a commitment to our Safety Leadership principles.

About your experience

We are looking for an innovative leader with a proven ability to manage a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to build strong customer relationships.

 

The ideal candidate will also have:

 

  • Previous experience in a senior leadership role in industrial companies

  • Strong market knowledge is highly desirable

  • Exceptional communication skills and a high level of emotional intelligence and empathy

  • Previous exposure to logistics planning and supply chain would be beneficial

  • The ability to work autonomously and remotely lead, coach and develop a high performing team

  • Understanding of safety principles and experience in safety engagement
