Logistics Coordinator

About the role

Join our team in Dandenong South as the Logistics Coordinator. In this role you will be supporting all areas of operations. Joining a hardworking, supportive, highly customer-focused team.

 

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the day to day operations for our warehouse team, drivers and couriers and calling customers. All to ensure an excellent customer experience. This role will work across all areas of operations and will cover processing, programming, load planning and operations.

 

Monday to Friday 7am – 3pm


Key responsibilities

 

  • To liase with and assist with the warehouse operational team planning, scheduling and coordinating deliveries
  • Coordination of the timely and efficient despatch and receipt of goods throughout the warehouse
  • Preparing and processing relevant documentation and maintaining records
  • Assisting the sales team in providing updates for customers goods and providing guidance
  • To liase with and assist with the warehouse operational team planning, scheduling, and coordinating inbound and outbound deliveries
  • Assisting in maintaining inventory accuracy at the site


Full training will be provided so we welcome applications from entry-level/graduate candidates. A background in operations including customer service, freight management, planning and distribution would be highly regarded. You will be able to work effectively with a diverse range of people, across all of operations to achieve a successful outcome. Ideally you will have;

 

  • Great attentional to detail, specifically in relation to accurate record keeping and documentation preparation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to manage own time and prioritise effectively
  • Strong problem solving skills and customer focus
