Account Manager

About the role

Join our Dandenong South team as our Account Manager and build on our well-established customer base.  Reporting to the Sales Manager, your role will be focused on driving sales for the branch within our Melbourne metro area.  This is an exciting role with fantastic career progression opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include:
 

• Maintain account coverage of InfraBuild's customer base across the assigned region
• Identify new business opportunities and develop existing accounts
• Follow up on customer quotations and ensure revenue targets are met
• Provide accurate forecasting to the internal team to ensure order requirements are met

About your experience

Our ideal candidate will have experience in external sales with an ability to grow and maintain strong customer relationships. It is important that you are a team player who enjoys working autonomously.

To be successful in this role you will:
 

• Experience in a steel, building or industrial product sales highly regarded (but not essential)
• Experience in Sales and Account management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills
• Experience in CRM management and knowledge of MS office suite
• SAP experience/knowledge desirable
