Key Account Manager
About the role

As a Key Account Manager working from our Corio site and covering South West Melbourne, you’ll focus on winning new business and building our customer base across the construction sector. This is a hands-on, field-based sales role where you’ll spend most of your time on the road, prospecting, cold calling and meeting customers to grow ARC’s presence in a competitive market.
What you will be doing:
- Hunt for and win new business across South West Melbourne, building a customer base from the ground up
- Prospect through cold calling, site visits and face-to-face meetings across the construction industry
- Manage a small portfolio of existing customers while maintaining a strong focus on new opportunities
- Use local market knowledge to grow ARC’s presence in a highly competitive region

What you will bring:
- A genuine hunter mindset with a passion for winning new business
- Proven B2B sales or business development experience, ideally within construction, steel, building products or a related industry
- A track record of identifying opportunities, converting prospects and building a customer base
- Confidence working autonomously and managing a define sales territory
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
