Forklift Operator

About the role

Based at our Chipping Norton site, this role entails day shift work from 6:30am to 2:30pm or 8am – 4pm, with the overtime available and paid at penalty rates.

Key Responsibilities for this Role Include:

• Loading and unloading trucks
• Operating forklifts and performing manual handling tasks
• Maintaining cleanliness in the yard and operational areas
• Conducting daily checks and safely operating machinery such as excavators, skid steers, forklifts etc.
• Adhering to safety procedures at all times

Ideally you will have:

• A valid forklift license and experience
• Experience in scrap recycling, construction or manufacturing,
• A positive mindset with a general interest to learn
• Excavator and/or skid steer experience, desirable – not essential
