Estimator
About the role
Join a successful and fast-paced branch within the Estimating and Projects team. Working closely with Account Managers, Operations, and the Leadership team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate quotes and supporting the delivery of multiple commercial projects concurrently, with scope to contribute at both Estimator and Senior Estimator level.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare accurate estimates and quotes by analysing shop drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and material take‑offs.
- Collaborate with the manager to negotiate pricing and margins, ensuring commercial competitiveness and profitability.
- Provide detailed product information and technical support to customers and Account Managers.
- Manage customer expectations end‑to‑end, coordinating effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and fulfilment.
- Identify value‑add solutions and additional sales opportunities to support business growth.
About your experience
It’s important that you are highly customer focused and thrive in a busy environment. You will be an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual who has a can-do attitude.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Commercial estimating experience
- Experience within the industrial, construction or manufacturing industries
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings
- Experience with estimating systems will be highly regarded
- Proactive approach, passion for customers and excellent time management skills
- Ability to understand your customers business and offer value-based solutions
