Customer Service - Estimator/Programmer

About the role

Join a successful branch working closely with Account Managers, Operations and the Leadership team, to ensure customers are having a continuously positive experience with Tonkin. We will support you with extensive training learning to interpret drawings from customers. You will convert them into quotes and orders, as well as simple machine programming. 

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service via phone and email
• Answer incoming calls and assist with product, pricing, and order enquiries
• Process quotes accurately and efficiently
• Key in sales orders and ensure timely follow-up

About your experience
It’s important that you are a team player with strong problem-solving skills, a customer focused mindset and thrive in a busy environment. 

• Customer Service, Operator, Warehousing, Trade or Steelfixer experience  
• Experience within the warehousing, construction or manufacturing industry
• Exposure to interpreting construction drawings ideal(advantageous)
• Excellent IT and mathematics understanding
• CAD experience highly desirable
