Key Account Manager
About the role

Reporting to the Area Manager and based at our Bathurst site, you will play a key role in driving sales growth across the building construction sector, developing customer relationships and converting project opportunities into long-term business success.
Working closely with builders, contractors, developers and project stakeholders you will manage opportunities from early project identification through to project award. This is a relationship-driven role where success comes from building strong customer partnerships within a regional market, maintaining a healthy pipeline and positioning the business to win future work.
What you will be doing:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with builders, contractors and key decision-makers
- Identify and track project opportunities from early planning stages through to tender and project award
- Manage a long-term sales pipeline, maintaining accurate forecasts and successfully converting opportunities into sustainable revenue growth
- Drive new business development while growing existing customer relationships across your region
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
- Support the delivery of sales targets, market share growth and business objectives
- Contribute to a high-performing and collaborative sales culture

What you will bring:
- Experience working within construction, building materials, industrial products or a related industry
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to understand customer requirements and deliver practical solutions
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and maintain momentum across multiple projects and stakeholders
- A proactive and self-driven approach, with the ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills
