Key Account Manager
About The Role:

Reporting to the Area Manager and based at our Ballina site, you will be responsible for managing some of our largest existing accounts, winning new business and expanding our customer base. You understand teamwork is critical to achieving this success.
Working in conjunction with the Area Manager and your peer network you will help drive a culture of work smarter not harder, through innovation, continuous improvement, and efficiencies.
The focus of this role is driving new business growth through strong customer relationships and proactive sales activity. You’ll be target-driven, motivated to achieve results and confident building rapport with customers to deliver the right solutions.

What you will be doing:
- Managing and growing an established territory across residential, commercial and civil customers
- Building strong long-term relationships with both resellers and end-use customers
- Identifying and winning new business opportunities to expand market share and drive branch growth
- Working closely with the Area Manager and wider sales team to drive efficiencies, innovation and continuous improvement
- Contributing to a proactive, high-performing sales culture and leading by example in the field
- Maintaining a strong presence on the road, regularly meeting with customers and identifying opportunities across your territory

What you will bring:
- Excellent business development skills and proven sales skills
- Innovative and strategic business acumen
- A passion for customer service and building rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident working autonomously and within a team
- Well versed in stakeholder management, with prior experience in the building and construction industry highly regarded
