Customer Service Representative

About the role

Our Atherton branch is looking for a proactive individual to be at the front line of our business. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will manage the day-to-day customers and clients, guaranteeing exceptional support and services. Your duties will include the following but are not limited to: 

 

  • Providing face to face, email-based, and over-the-phone type of customer service
  • Providing quotes, pricing, and responding to general queries of customers 
  • Processing and completing purchase orders
  • Performing general administrative work and assisting in ad hoc activities – warehousing, despatch, and inventories


Role Hours: Monday – Friday – 7:30 am to 4 pm


It’s important that you are adaptable, with strong problem-solving skills and have a customer-focused mindset. You will be goal orientated and able to build and maintain effective customer relationships. 


To be successful in this role, you are someone who possesses the following:

 

  • Has an experience in a similar phone-based/in-person customer service role 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good computer skills or ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Previous experience in SAP ERP is desirable
  • Background or exposure to the construction, manufacturing, or steel industry is highly regarded
  • A can-do attitude and a strong desire to learn and develop your skillset
