Electrical Planner
About The Role
Austube Mills is seeking a capable and detail-oriented Electrical Maintenance Planner to join our dynamic team at the Acacia Ridge site. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on structure, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to make a real impact on plant reliability, planning, and performance.
This position plays a vital part in supporting the site’s maintenance and reliability function. You’ll work closely with technical, planning, and leadership teams to coordinate preventative maintenance, enhance reliability strategies, and optimise the performance of our plant assets.
The role also involves overseeing the planning and scheduling of electrical work, contractor engagement, shutdown preparation, and general support of continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll manage and maintain key maintenance systems (CMMS), assist with job planning documentation, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate electrical maintenance activities, including routine work, shutdowns, and contractor management, while collaborating closely with production and maintenance teams to align priorities.
- Maintain and develop CMMS (Maximo) data, planning structures, and job packs, supporting the electrical team with resources and parts procurement.
- Drive reliability improvements and long-term asset strategies, while actively supporting safety, compliance, and fostering a strong team culture across the site.
To be successful, You will have:
- Experienced planner or electrical tradesperson with solid knowledge of asset management, maintenance practices, and preferably experience in heavy industrial or continuous manufacturing environments.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally and drive results through effective planning and teamwork.
- Proficient with Maximo or other CMMS platforms, confident in managing data, systems, and scheduling processes.
- Safety-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards in all aspects of work.
