About the role

ARC (The Australian Reinforcing Company) is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Cairns branch as an Operations Supervisor.  This full-time role isn’t just a job – it’s a chance to dive into Queensland's vibrant lifestyle while advancing your career with Australia’s industry leader in steel reinforcement.

 

Join Australia’s leading reinforcement products manufacturer as the Operations Supervisor, providing strong leadership, operational and change management skills. You will be instrumental to the success of the branch by ensuring its customers are serviced to the highest level, production and delivery targets are met, and the operations team are proactively coached to maximise their capabilities.

Your key priorities:
 

  • Managing and mentoring the operational team; promoting a safe high-performing culture
  • Develop and implement an efficiency review program
  • Maintenance planning and improvements to promote a proactive approach
  • Proactively manage change


It’s important that you are a people and safety centric leader, who has a strategic and innovative mindset. You will lead a highly capable team and drive best-practice. 
 

  • Operations supervision experience 
  • Building products, industrial manufacturing or construction industry experience 
  • Implementing a high-performance culture in operations
  • Championing a strong safety culture 
  • Proven cost-management and continuous improvement experience
