Apprentices / Graduates / Vacation Students / Cadets

Our businesses actively support skills-based training and apprenticeship programmes at our sites throughout the country. Working alongside their TAFE studies, our apprentices are learning the trades and developing the skills to become the essential workforce of tomorrow.

We employ apprentices in trades as wide ranging as Fabricators / Boilermakers, Electricians, Fitter and Turners, Machinists and Mechanical Fitters. Our apprentices tell us that it’s the balance between work and study that really gives them the edge.

You’ll be challenged and stretched, but you’ll find it’s the best way to develop and learn.

We have challenging opportunities for graduates to apply your tertiary studies in a practical way, using your inventiveness, your analytical skills and your ability to identify problems and develop solutions. We offer Graduate programs in many disciplines including Engineering, Material Science, Metallurgy, Human Resources and IT to name just a few.

Our opportunities will give you exposure to a diverse range of products and processes to which you can make a valuable contribution. In addition to the technical aspects of the role, we offer a hands-on approach to broaden your skillset from an interpersonal and professional perspective, which may lead to additional career opportunities in the future.

From time-to-time we offer cadetships within our businesses. Our cadets tell us that the hands-on nature of our program puts their professional, technical and interpersonal skills in the fast lane for growth. Our cadetships combine real work with encouragement, training and support, whilst simultaneously enabling you to complete your studies.

If you should join our cadetship, you will receive help to cover the cost of your studies whilst you combine part-time study with part-time work for us. And when you successfully complete your studies, you may potentially be offered a permanent role within our businesses to continue your career growth.

We encourage you to join us on your career journey.
